SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) has ramped up production at its 300,000 tonne/year low density polyethylene (LDPE) unit at Map Ta Phut to 100% capacity, a source close to the company said on Friday.

The plant was taken off line at the end of November because of an on-site shortage of ethylene feedstock, and was restarted on 10 January, the source said.

The producer was not immediately available for comment.
