Taiwan’s TPCC runs Kaohsiung MA plant at 80%

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan Prosperity Chemical Corp (TPCC) is running its 40,000 tonne/year maleic anhydride (MA) plant in Kaohsiung at 80% of capacity, a company source said on Friday.

The plant resumed production on 10 January after being shut for scheduled maintenance on 24 December 2012.

TPCC will target to ramp up to full production in the coming week, the source said.

Spot MA material will be offered in the coming week, the source said.
