Japan’s Nippon Shokubai to start up Indonesia SAP plant in August

JAKARTA (ICIS)--Japan’s Nippon Shokubai is scheduled to start up its new 90,000 tonne/year super absorbent polymer (SAP) plant in Cilegon, Indonesia, in August this year, a company source said on Tuesday.

"The plant is scheduled for commercial production in August,” he said.

No other details were immediately available.

SAP is a raw material used in various applications, including diapers and industrial filters.
