SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Saudi Kayan will shut its 260,000 tonne/year polycarbonate (PC) plant in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia, for a two-month turnaround from 10 February, a source from its parent firm SABIC said late on Tuesday.
The plant is due to resume production on 10 April, the source said.
The shutdown may cause PC prices to increase in March, market sources said.
Saudi Kayan is an affiliate of petrochemical giant SABIC.
