India’s Reliance sells 35,000 tonnes heavy naphtha for early Feb

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) sold a 35,000 tonne cargo of heavy naphtha for loading from Sikka on 3-7 February, traders said on Wednesday.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of around $40/tonne (€30/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), they added.

The buyer was heard to be an end-user, traders said.

Reliance also sold a 55,000-tonne naphtha cargo for loading from Sikka on 15-20 February to to Japanese trading firm Itochu.

The spot deal for the open-spec material was done at a premium of $42.50/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board).
