SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shangdong Dadi Salt Chemical Group plans to start up its 300,000 tonne/year caustic soda unit in Shandong province in September, a company source said on Thursday.
The company started building this unit since the second half of 2012, the company source said without specifying the exact date the construction started and financial details.
The company is expected to reach a total capacity of 1.05m tonnes/year of caustic soda following the new start-up, the company source added.
