Citgo’s refinery in Illinois operating normally

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Citgo confirmed on Friday that all units its 167,000 bbl/day Lemont refinery in Illinois was operating normally.

The Lemont facility had production issues in early December and informed customers it would not be able to ship xylene, heptane and other products until 20 December.

The company was able to ship most of its products after 20 December, but trade sources had said during January that there were still issues moving out hexane.

The Lemont facility also produces aromatics such as benzene and toluene.
