LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European February propylene contract price has been agreed at €1,100/tonne, up by €10/tonne, largely to reflect tighter supply conditions, market sources said on Tuesday.

Direct confirmation has been received from two major producers and two major consumers – one non-integrated, the other integrated. Confirmation is pending from a second major integrated consumer.

The contract is agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
