SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Zhongyuan Dahua is planning to restart its 750,000 tonne/year urea unit at Henan province in central China in early February, a company source said on Thursday.

The urea unit was taken off line on 20 December 2012 because of a shortage of natural gas feedstock, the source said, without stating the exact restart date.

The restart of the unit is unlikely have a significant impact on the spot prices in the domestic market due to the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year holiday on 9-15 February, but may have some impact on the prices in the local market, the source said.
