SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea's Samsung Total has bought a 25,000 tonne naphtha cargo in the spot market for delivery to Daesan in the first half of March, traders said on Thursday.
The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $23-24/tonne (€17.00-17.80/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they added.
Meanwhile, Samsung Total will continue to operate its 1m tonne/year cracker in Daesan at 100% of capacity in February, unchanged from January, a company source said.
