Two Asia PX majors settle February ACP up by $60/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Two Asian paraxylene (PX) majors have settled their February Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,685/tonne (€1,247/tonne), up by $60/tonne from the previous month’s settlement.

South Korea’s S-Oil, as well as Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Energy, have concluded negotiations with their respective customers in Taiwan, Japan and China at $1,685/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia, sources from the companies and their customers confirmed.

The January ACP was settled at $1,625/tonne CFR Asia.
