SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s SK Energy will shut its 190,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker at Ulsan for a turnaround on 10 March, a company source said on Friday.

The cracker, which is currently running at 75% capacity this month, is expected to be restarted on 5 April, he said.

SK Energy operates a larger 690,000 tonne/year No 2 cracker at the same site and the plant is not slated to undergo scheduled maintenance this year.
