SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shanxi Zhushui Science and Technology Co plans to start up its 50,000 tonne/year polyurethane (PU) resins project at Yuncheng city in Shanxi province at the end of 2013, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The company will invest yuan (CNY) 500m ($80m) on the project, and it held the groundbreaking ceremony on 30 January, the source said.
PU resins are new materials produced from chlorinated polypropylene, so as to meet growing environmental requirement in domestic ink industries.
