India’s Reliance hikes PE, PP list prices by Rs1.0-1.5/kg

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Reliance Industries raised its domestic list prices for high density polyethylene (HDPE) and low density PE (LDPE) film grade by rupee (Rs) 1.00/kg ($18.77/tonne) on Friday because of strong demand, a company source said.

List prices are now at Rs101.00-102.00/kg DEL (delivered) India for HDPE, and at Rs102.00-102.50/kg DEL India for LDPE.

Reliance also raised the prices for all polypropylene (PP) grades, except biaxially-oriented PP, by Rs1.50/kg on firming demand.

Other major Indian polyolefin producers include Indian Oil and Haldia Petrochemicals

($1 = Rs53.28)
