India’s BPCL cuts domestic Group II base oil prices

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) has announced a price reduction in locally produced Group II cargoes, buyers said on Friday.

The move, which came into effect on 1 February, has lowered the prices of 65N and 150N by Indian rupees (Rs) 2/litre (4 US cents/litre) and the prices of 500N by Rs1/litre.

Buyers said the price cuts came amid weak demand.
