MOVES: Dover Chemical announces leadership changes

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Dover Chemical announced on Friday a series of leadership moves it says positions the US company for future growth.

Jack Teat Jr. has been appointed to the new position of chief operating officer, reporting to President Dwain Colvin. As COO, Teat will have overall responsibility for operations, including sales; research and development; and environmental, health and safety.

Chuck Fletcher will report to Teat as vice president of sales and marketing, where his responsibilities will include commercial development and leadership of Dover Chemical’s business managers and global sales team. He will continue his direct management of Dover’s alkylphenols and stearates business.

Marc Nolen has been promoted to business manager of polyolefins, reporting to Fletcher. He most recently served as product manager for Dover Chemical’s patented antioxidant, Doverphos S-9228, and had key account responsibility within the polyolefin industry.

Damon Stevenson will assume the new responsibility of global sales manager, reporting to Fletcher. He will continue to manage Dover’s domestic sales team and distribution channels, and will add responsibility for the global sales team and management of the customer service group.

Dover Chemical, based in Dover, Ohio, is a producer of polymer additives, liquid and solid chlorinated paraffins, liquid and solid antioxidants, flame retardants and additives for water-based or oil-based coatings and metalworking fluids.
