Belarusian Potash Co agrees supply deal with Indian Potash

LONDON (ICIS)--Trading company Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) has agreed to ship one million tonnes of potash to fertilizer importer Indian Potash from February 2013 through to January 2014, Russian potash producer Uralkali said on Wednesday.

The delivery price of potash fertilizer for India has been set at $427/tonne (€316/tonne) CFR (cost & freight), added Uralkali, which along with Belarusian potash producer Belaruskali, owns joint-venture trading arm BPC.

In mid-January, BPC signed agreements with Chinese importers to supply potash at $400/tonne CFR.
