CAMPINAS, Brazil (ICIS)--Brazil sugar and ethanol producer Cosan reported Q3 net revenue of reais (R) 8.4bn ($4.2bn, €3.1bn), up 33% from R6.3bn reported for the same time last year, the company said on Thursday.
Cosan's Q3 net income was R342m, up from R93.8m from the same time last year.
Raizen Combustiveis, a joint venture between Cosan and Shell, reported a Q3 net revenue of R11.4bn, up nearly 13% year on year.
Raizen Combustiveis is a fuel retailer.
Raizen Combustiveis reported R492.7m in Q3 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), up nearly 42% from R347.6m from the same time in 2011.
Among the company's segments, Raizen Energia reported Q3 revenue of R332.9m, compared with R480m from the same quarter the previous year.
