HOUSTON (ICIS)--US jet fuel inventories fell for the week ended 8 February despite a drop in consumption rates, a government agency’s report showed on Wednesday.
Jet fuel consumption was 31,000 bbl/day lower at 1.401m bbl/day, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Stockpiles decreased by 300,000 bbl to 38.8m bbl that same week.
However, production rates increased, gaining 43,000 bbl/day to reach 1.436m bbl/day, the EIA said.
