LONDON (ICIS)--European acrylonitrile (ACN) February contracts have finalised at an increase of €10/tonne ($13/tonne), buyers and sellers confirmed.

The increase in the February contract price mirrored the €10/tonne rise in the upstream propylene February contract price.

One producer and buyer agreed a February contract price of plus €5/tonne, but this was seen as an exception by both parties and based on a higher starting point in January.

European ACN February contract prices finalised at €2,060-2,088/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe).
