SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sichuan Yongxiang shut its 120,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant in Sichuan province for annual maintenance on 17 February, a company source said on Monday.
The maintenance shutdown will last for about 10 days, and the plant is expected to restart on 28 February.
The shutdown will not affect the producer’s contractual supply as it has built up inventories for its contract customers, the company source said. It will only make fresh offers for arrival after Lunar New Year following its plant maintenance, the company source added.
