SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s SK Energy is on track to shut its 190,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker at Ulsan for a turnaround in March, a company source said on Monday.

The cracker is now slated to be shut earlier on 7 March, and not 10 March as previously reported. The source did not provide further details.

The restart date will likely be on 3 April, he said.

The No 1 cracker is currently running at 75% capacity this month while the larger 690,000 tonne/year No 2 cracker at the same site is running at 100% capacity.
