EU BPA exports plummet in November - Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)--The EU exported almost no bisphenol A (BPA) in November 2012, data from statistical agency Eurostat showed on Monday.

In October 2012 the EU exported 590 tonnes of BPA, but a month later only two tonnes, a drop of 99.66%. At the same time, the EU imported 2% more BPA from the rest of the world.

Compared with November 2011, the EU's BPA imports increased by 77% and exports dropped by 98% (see table below).
