NewsFlashTaiwan’s CPC shuts No 5 cracker on power outage

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--A power outage at CPC Corp’s refinery in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, caused the shutdown of the company’s No 5 cracker late on Monday, company sources said on Tuesday.

The cracker has a 500,000 tonne/year capacity, according to ICIS data.

The cracker may resume operations in two to three days' time, the sources said.
