SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Cangzhou Dahua is running its two toluene di-isocynate (TDI) plants in Hebei province at full tilt, sources familiar with the situation said on Wednesday.
The plants – a 30,000 tonne/year unit and a 50,000 tonne/year unit – in Hebei province resumed operations sometime last week, the sources said.
Technical issues that shut the plants down on 2 February had been resolved during China's Lunar New Year holiday on 9-15 February, they said.
Cangzhou Dahua's third TDI plant, with a 70,000 tonne/year capacity, has remained operational during the shutdown of the other two, and has been running at full capacity, the sources said.
