LONDON (ICIS)--Production at Israeli-based Carmel Olefins’ polyolefins and cracker at its Haifa site is now fully back on stream after some minor issues that delayed its full start-up following a planned maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.
“We are now back to full production,” said the source.
The site was brought down around 9 January for a four-week maintenance outage.
PE and PP demand has been weak in Europe in recent months and production has been cut back to accommodate lower volumes.
