SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea refinery GS Caltex has revised the maintenance schedule of its 1.3m tonne/year Group II and Group III base oils plant from early March to 15 March, a company source said on Thursday.

The Group II/III base oils plant will be shut for 35 days, instead of the initial planned 40 days and will be restarted by mid-April, the source added.

The refinery has raised its March offers by $30-40/tonne (€22.50-30.00/tonne), depending on the region, in anticipation of tight supply during the shutdown period.

($1 = €0.75)
