Taiwan’s FPCC buys 100,000 tonnes naphtha for first-half April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) has bought by tender around 100,000 tonnes of spot naphtha supply for delivery to Mailiao in the first half of April, traders said on Monday.

The deals for the cargoes were done at a premium in the low-$20s/tonne (€15.20/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they added.

FPCC last bought by tender around 100,000 tonnes of spot naphtha supply for delivery to Mailiao in the second half of March, at a premium of about $24/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
