LONDON (ICIS)--Momentive's 100,000 tonne/year bisphenol A (BPA) plant in Pernis, the Netherlands, is back online after a short unplanned shutdown, a company source said on Tuesday.
"The plant shut down last week for a few days after problems with one of the pipes, but everything is OK now," a source at the plant said.
The shutdown has not impacted liquid epoxy resins supply, but BPA shipments to three customers have been delayed by one week. The plant is back online and is producing as usual.
