BRISBANE (ICIS)--China’s polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) imports in January decreased by 4.4% from December, official statistics showed on Wednesday.
The country imported 17,382 tonnes of PMMA in January, according to China Customs data.
PMMA import prices in January averaged $2,687/tonne (€2,069/tonne), representing a 0.9% decline from the previous month, the data showed.
Demand for PMMA finished products remained poor amid China’s slowing economy, market players said.
