LONDON (ICIS)--A second European March ethylene contract price (CP) settlement has been agreed up by €50/tonne ($65/tonne) thereby establishing the new March CP at €1,325/tonne once full and direct confirmation is received from the parties concerned, market sources said on Wednesday.
An initial settlement was agreed by a major non-integrated consumer with two of its suppliers. The second settlement was between a major integrated consumer and a third major producer. Confirmation from all but one of the settling producers is pending.
