NOON SNAPSHOT – Europe Markets Summary

LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Thursday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: April WTI: $92.50/bbl, down 26 cents/bbl. April BRENT: $112.10/bbl, up 23 cents/bbl
Prices were having another mixed session, pressured by a firmer US dollar and forecasts of weaker global demand.

NAPHTHA: $961-963/tonne, down $7/tonne
The cargo range on the back of softer crude oil prices and a weaker crack spread. March swaps were assessed at $944-946/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,350-1,370/tonne, down $10-20/tonne
Heavy losses in the US and Asia pulled European numbers for March down further. April was offered at $1,385/tonne.

STYRENE: $1,710-1,730/tonne, down $5-10/tonne
March opened slightly lower in line with benzene. April was in contango at $1,720-1,740/tonne.
