SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) plans to shut its 250,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Map Ta Phut from end-April for a turnaround, a source close to the company said on Thursday.
The maintenance will last for around 15 days and the plant is expected to resume production from mid-May, the source said.
