Japan's OIREC to shut Osaka refinery for month-long March turnaround

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan's Osaka International Refining Co (OIREC) will shut down its 115,000 bbl/day Osaka refinery on 11 March for one month of scheduled maintenance, a source close to the company said on Thursday.

OIREC is a joint venture company which is 51% owned by leading Japanese refiner JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp and 49% owned by regional oil giant PetroChina. The company was set up in October 2010 as an export-oriented oil refiner.
