SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Petro Oxo Nusantara (PON) has delayed the restart date of its 140,000 tonne/year 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) plant at Gresik, a company source said on Friday.
The company shut the 2-EH unit on 17 February for a catalyst change and annual maintenance, and was initially expected to restart the plant on 1 March.
“The plant will likely be restarted by next week,” the source said without further elaboration.
