LONDON (ICIS)--Versalis’ cracker at Dunkirk, France, is expected to restart over the next couple of days following an unplanned outage due to a technical problem, a company source said on Friday.

The exact nature of the problem, which took the cracker down around 20 February, was not disclosed.

Another market source said it had been informed of a 5-6 March restart date.

The cracker has the capacity to produce 380,000 tonnes/year of ethylene and 210,000 tonnes/year of propylene, according to ICIS data.
