LONDON (ICIS)--The European styrene barge contract price for March has settled at €1,475/tonne ($1,916/tonne), an increase of €27/tonne from the previous month, several producers and consumers said on Friday.

According to one of the consumers involved, the €27/tonne increase reflected higher raw material costs, with benzene up €14/tonne for March and ethylene settled €50/tonne higher.

The contract price was agreed on a free on board (FOB) Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) basis.
