Fiscal issues will hamper 2013-2014 growth in US GDP – NABE
The US GDP should grow by 2.4% in this year and by 3.0% in 2014, but the number would be higher if it was not for the fiscal uncertainty surrounding the federal government, according to a forecast released on Monday by the National Association for Business Economics (NABE).

US February MIBK values rise on upstream, supply pressure
US methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) contract values settled up for February on strong feedstock pricing and ongoing supply constraints, sources confirmed on Monday.

US March BD contract settles up 8 cents/lb at 84 cents/lb
The March contract for US butadiene (BD) has settled at 84 cents/lb ($1,852/tonne, €1,408/tonne) among the three producers that account for more than 80% of US capacity, market sources said on Tuesday.
