SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Maoming started up its 2.4m tonne/year hydrocracking unit on 2 March, a report from the company said on Monday.
The unit, located at Maoming in Guangdong province, can work on a total capacity of 2.4m tonnes/year, with products including naphtha, jet fuel, diesel and by-product liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), the report added.
Construction of the unit was started on 6 March 2011, and it can achieve high-quality and clean oil products after its commercial operation.
