MELBOURE (ICIS)--South Korea's Lotte Chemical plans to restart its 50,000 tonnes/year glycol ethers plant in Daesan on 25 March upon the completion of a planned turnaround, a company source said on Monday.

The unit was shut on 1 March to undergo maintenance, the source said.

Due to the plant overhaul, the producer's March glycol ethers export availability was reduced to 2,000 tonnes from the usual 3,000 tonnes a month.

Its February export volume was reduced to 1,000 tonnes for the same reason, the source added.
