SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Dalian Petrochemical plans to shut its 200,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Dalian in Shandong province in late March for regular maintenance, a source close to the company said on Monday.
“The PP plant will be shut on 26 March and the maintenance will last for 10 days,” the source added.
The unit’s shutdown will not have a significant impact on the domestic PP market, because there will be minimal loss of output from the plant, local distributors said.
