HOUSTON (ICIS)--Panca Amara Utama (PAU) selected KBR to provide the licensing, engineering services and proprietary equipment for a new ammonia plant in Sulawesi, Indonesia, the US-based contractor said on Tuesday.
Japanese firm Toyo Engineering will build the plant, which have a capacity of 2,000 tonnes/day, KBR said. The plant will be designed using KBR's reforming exchanger system and purifier technology.
KBR did not disclose financial details or say when the plant will start production.
PAU is a subsidiary of Surya Esa Perkasa (SEP), an Indonesian liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) company..
