MELBOURNE (ICIS)--China’s Shandong Yankuang Chemical plans to shut its 200,000 tonne/year ethyl acetate (etac) plant at Tengzhou in Shandong province for a turnaround in March, a company source said on Thursday.

The producer plans to shut its etac plant and upstream 800,000 tonne/year acetic acid plant for 25 days of maintenance starting on 10 March, the source said.

The capacity of its acetic acid plant was expanded to the existing capacity in 2012, the source added.
