SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has firmed up its turnaround schedule for its oxo-alcohols facility in September and October this year, a company source said on Thursday.
LG operates two 2-ethyhexanol (2-EH) plants at Yeosu and Naju, with each having a nameplate production capacity of 150,000 tonnes/year.
The company aims to shut the 2-EH plant located at Naju in end-September for two weeks, the source said.
For the 2-EH plant at Yeosu, LG Chem plans to shut it in mid-October for approximately two weeks as well, the source added.
