India’s MRPL sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for early April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender 35,000 tonnes of naphtha for loading from the New Mangalore port on 6-8 April, traders said on Friday.

Chinese trading firm Unipec won the tender at a premium of $62/tonne (€47/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), they said.

MRPL last sold by tender a 35,000-tonne naphtha cargo to South Korean firm Daewoo for loading from the New Mangalore port on 22-24 March.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $65-67/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB.
