SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Nippon Shokubai plans to shut its 35,000 tonne/year maleic anhydride (MA) plant at Himeji for scheduled maintenance from 25 March to 19 April, a company source said on Friday.
The MA plant is currently operating at full capacity, the source said.
The producer will build up its inventory prior to the shutdown to ensure supply to customers during the plant’s maintenance, the source said.
