HOUSTON (ICIS)--US-based United Biofuels has purchased a partially completed 50m gal/year (189m litres/year) biodiesel facility in ?xml:namespace>
The acquisition is part of a purchase by United Biofuels’ parent company, United Refining, of certain assets of Metro Fuel Oil and its affiliates, the company said in a press release.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
When completed, the facility will be one of the largest biodiesel plants on the east coast, the company said.
