NOON SNAPSHOT – Europe Markets Summary

LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Monday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: April WTI: $91.70/bbl, down 25 cents/bbl. April BRENT: $110.13/bbl, down 72 cents/bbl
Crude oil futures weakened, pressured by higher-than-expected levels of inflation in China at 3.20% in February.

NAPHTHA: $931-933/tonne, up $6/tonne
The cargo range was assessed up on firmer crude oil prices and a higher crack spread. April swaps were assessed at $898-900/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,260-1,275/tonne, down $5-15/tonne
March opened softer amid continued global bearishness.

STYRENE: $1,650-1,680/tonne, up $50-60/tonne
The market continued to claw back from the losses late last week. April was in contango at $1,655-1,700/tonne.
