SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea's Taekwang Petrochemical restarted its 290,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in Ulsan on Tuesday after a scheduled turnaround, a company source said.
“The plant was restarted today and is expected to ramp up the operating rate to 100% on 13 March,” the source said.
The plant was shut down on 20 February.
ACN prices in Asia were assessed as stable at $1,950-2,050/tonne (€1,502-1,577/tonne) CFR NE Asia in the week ended on 8 March, according to ICIS.
