India’s MRPL sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for 14-16 April loading

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading from the New Mangalore port on 14-16 April, traders said on Thursday.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $64/tonne (€49/tonne) to Middle East FOB (free on board) quotes and the buyer was Japanese firm Idemitsu, they added.

MRPL last sold by tender 35,000 tonnes of naphtha for loading from the New Mangalore port on 6-8 April. Chinese trading firm Unipec won the tender at a premium of $62/tonne to Middle East FOB quotes.
